Choir Concert Attire

Each student will be required to wear appropriate concert attire to each performance.  The best choirs in the world are able to hold audiences in awe of their vocal ability and technique… but they also present themselves as professionally as possible so that the audience is able to receive them openly.

The Robinson orchestras, bands, and choirs have had a long tradition of wearing “black and whites”.   We have a day at the beginning of the year when a person from the Tux Shop comes out to measure kids for their new concert attire.  After orders are taken, the student is responsible for picking up their outfit at the store as soon as it is available.  The required clothing is as follows…

• White “tux” shirt (will be measured and ordered by The Tux Shop)

• Black slacks or floor length skirts – absolutely no denim   or print (obtain on your own)

• Black shoes (absolutely no tennis shoes)

• Black socks

• Black bow tie (will be ordered from The Tux Shop)

Total cost of shirt and bow tie:  Approx. $20
