Hello,
We were out working on our pool
yesterday afternoon. Frustration and
tensions were running high as a very
expensive piece of equipment had just
broken minutes before. I was staying
very quiet as not to upset my husband
anymore when I looked up and saw your
balloon, with a note attached, floating
over our house & pool and down into our
yard. I thought that was kind of cool
timing........... An unexpected
surprise to calm the tension! We
read the kind note, there was no name on
it, but it looks like a girls hand
writing, in red ink, with a message that
seemed to be sent from up
above......................with perfect
timing!
It read:
Have a wonderful day! God B.L.E.S.S
You!
Thank you for the encouraging words my
dear friend and may God Bless &
Encourage You! :o)

Good Morning Jashia, Your balloon made it all the way to
Arkansas! I just wanted you to know that we found your beautiful
yellow balloon in our play yard on Friday afternoon. It was
flying by and one of our trees caught it and it landed where the
children play. We are an Early Head Start Program and we are
located in Mt. Judea Arkansas.
We would like to commend you for standing up for the "no place
for hate". You keep standing for what you believe in, we are
proud of you!
We wish you the best of luck in everything that you
do.......have a wonderful day from all the staff at the Mt.
Judea Learning Center, Mt. Judea Arkansas.

Hi,
Michael
I am a
Postmaster in Braman Oklahoma, a town about 55 miles south of
Wichita Kansas.
On my
way home from work I noticed a yellow balloon along side the
rural road I travel to go home. It was a yellow balloon flying
a top a yellow and purple string. This is the second time I
have come across a flying message.
My
town is one mile off of I35 about 8 miles south of the Kansas
stateline.
I have
been a Postmaster for 31 years and a postal worker for 47 years.
I grew up in this town and lived as a young child with my aunt
most of the time so I could stay in town and not in the country
with my parents. My aunt was the telephone operator and the
telephone office was exactly where my post office sits today.
I am
71 years old. I have 2 children, a boy and a girl and they gave
me 5 granddaughters. 2 of the girls are OSU graduates, 2 will
be going to OSU next semester and one is still in highschool at
north Enid, Oklahoma.
I
enjoy people. I enjoy children. There is no room in my heart
for hate. That is why I enjoy serving my community as their
postmaster. I also serve on the cemetery board and help
families when they suffer the loss of a loved one.
I am
so glad I found your balloon so we could make this connection.
You are now in the best time of your life. Study hard and enjoy
your youth.

I found the purple
string along with a part of the balloon yesterday. I live about
2 miles south of Haysville. The purple string scared me - I
thought it was a snake!!
I thought it was
neat that I found this - hope you get the message before school
is out next week!!

MY HUSBAND, RETIRED SGT MAJOR USMC SAM ZURZOLO FOUND YOUR BALLOON
HERE IN OUR HOME TOWN OF BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA ON THE 16TH OF
MAY.
IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE IT MADE IT SO FAR. IT IS NICE TO SEE THAT MIDDLE
SCHOOL KIDS STILL TAKE AN INTEREST IN DOING SUCH THINGS.
I AM WONDERING THE DATE YOU RELEASED IT? PLEASE WRITE BACK AND LET
ME KNOW.
THANK YOU, BONNIE |

May 18th 2008 my grandson and I was walking through the woods
near Laquay, Missouri when he spotted a purple balloon along the
trail. He said “O'Boy a balloon” and he ran and got it. He
asked me “grandpa is this a glue?” pointing to the tag with the
note , I told him it was and read it to him.
Wish you lots of success on the program no room for
hate. God Bless you all.
Grandpa.

Today, I was working in the 600 block of E. 71st St. South in
Haysville, and Charlie King's yellow balloon landed a few feet
from me. I'm glad Robinson Middle School has sent out these
positive messages and hope most of the students receive
replies. I say most because a few minutes after finding
Charlie's balloon, a purple balloon landed in the middle of a
small wheat field, next to the Kansas Turnpike. Good luck in
the future Mr. King.
Sincerely,
Cale Topinka
