About Foundation
The Robinson Foundation for Educational Excellence, established in 1989, is a 501(c)(3) organization that raises and distributes funds to provide educational enhancement grants to Robinson teachers for equipment, books, or other materials that are not provided for in traditional budgets, sometimes more than $10,000 per year. During the 2023-24 school year, the Foundation spent $3000 to purchase a portable outdoor audio system, supplies for egg hatching, and Spanish language novels for enrichment reading, as well as contributing $4000 to the purchase of new track uniforms. The Foundation was also instrumental in fundraising for bleachers in the new gym and the Pickleball courts.
You can help by making a tax-deductible donation to the Robinson Foundation (by check or PayPal) or by attending our promotional restaurant nights like Il Vicino, Dairy Queen, and Chipotle nights. Your gifts ensure great opportunities continue to come to our students at Robinson. Your donation makes a difference—and 100% of your donation directly benefits our students.

Consider serving on our board! Parents who serve as board members for the Foundation meet monthly to evaluate teacher proposals and plan fundraising. Officers are elected at the May meeting each year, but general members can join at any time. All parents and teachers are welcome to attend Foundation meetings and learn more about the organization. Serving on the Foundation board takes just one hour a month—and makes a huge difference for our school community! Come be a voice in deciding which projects get funded and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education at Robinson. Join us!
Teacher Proposals
For teachers interested in submitting a proposal for funding, please fill out the proposal form located on the staff Wakelet and send it to Mr. Freund. If he approves it, please send it on to us at RobinsonMiddleSchool.Foundation@gmail.com, so we can add you to the next board meeting agenda. Teachers present proposals during the first few minutes of each meeting. PLEASE NOTE: Please submit at least 48 hours before the scheduled meeting. You must present this proposal at the time of the meeting, either in person, via video call, or via prerecorded video. Proposals are not considered without a presentation. After all presentations have been heard, the board will discuss and vote. A vote is usually decided at the first meeting, but the proposal may be tabled if board members request more time to research the proposal.
